Nigel Hastilow - More PC Madness

Nigel Hastilow has apparently been forced to resign tonight as Conservative party parliamentary candidate after declaring that Enoch Powell was "right" when he gave his anti-immigration "Rivers of Blood" speech.

Mr Hastilow wrote:

"Many insist: 'Enoch Powell was right' warning that uncontrolled immigration would change our country irrevocably. He was right. It has changed dramatically."

He also wrote: "They have more or less given up complaining about the way we roll out the red carpet for foreigners while leaving the locals to fend for themselves."

Isn't this what we are all thinking? Is it now racist to state an absolute fact, uncontrolled immigration has changed our country dramatically, Enoch Powell was right - fact pure and simple.

Yet another attack on free speech and a continuing decline of British politics, say what we want you to say - not what you think, and for God's sake dont offend any minorities!

......it's not just the British whites that's complaining, many asians and whites are also stating that we can't keep on taking people into this island....this has noting to do with racsim, we all want immigration sorted!
Nigel, you shouldn't have resigned to that woman that sucks up to any leader...get back and say you were wrong, SACK ME INSTEAD!

  Exactly, people forget that we live on an island, a very small one at that, we have finite space, being overcrowed affects not just our employment and training opportunities but also our quality of life.

Should Nigel Hastilow remain loyal to the Conservative Party that sacked him as its Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for saying "Enoch was right"?

Nigel Hastilow says he wants to do nothing to harm the Conservative Party of which he is still a member and confirms that he wants a Conservative government.

What is the point of remaining loyal to a Party led by a leader infamous for his lack of policies and principles, who predictably had him sacked the moment he voiced the genuine concerns of his prospective constituents?

Does this mean he lacks the qualities to be either a career politician (because he spoke the truth) or a conviction politician (because he apologised for speaking the truth)?

Did he BLUNDER into this controversy without a strategy?

Is it good riddance to someone who will only enrage his masters for not toeing the party line and disappoint his constituents for not sticking to his guns?

Nigel should now join the independent democrat's-You only go forward then and with no party political blindness or a woman blinded with no direction! I have been a candidate a few times and beat LIB dems and labour on each occasion with Tory as the winner..But I fight for the local public and England and not a so-called son of a church(Brown) or toff(guess who?)...forget Harry/England and that lot, that was in their day, this 2008 and is for the people, by the people and for the people and not by the rich for the rich to milk the public to bring us back to Serf days!-Ask any party political symathasizer why they vote for their party, many say I always have and that answer says it all and proves they never move on, so we are largely governed due to pathetic and apathetic voters that says it's easier to put an x on a ballot paper than voice their opinion where it councts and I do not mean in the local pub or through local newspapers up against a computer screen!-

Next time- and that's EXACTLY how I go up next May 2009 with 'I want a contract' between the voter and the candidate, the agenda will be there, agreed by the local public and if the candidate ignores it, then a by-election clicks in, or else why vote in this day and age. We need more than a pretty face, nice legs, moustache, suit surely to get our vote?---18 years of Tory(15% interest rates and high unemployment) and 11 years of LABOUR(need you be reminded?), ALL LEADERS HAVE MADE FROM US ALL!-I feel the next elections over the next five years will be your last effective one's, for after that you will have the state that's never been wanted, which is a NEW ORDER, you will certainly know you are living in it when you get whipped off the streets for just talking about a bad council service?
