In fact one thing that they all have in common is 'democracy when it suits' free speech is fantastic when you are declaring that Britain is a fine example of a well integrated Multicultural country but withdrawn if you dare to question or have an opinion that doesn't suit current liberal thinking as happened to Nick Griffin at the Oxford Union.</p> <p>The problem really is quite simple in that every religion, every race and every nationality has someone or something that they simply cannot integrate with on the level needed to co-exist permanently as neighbours. Islam for example is quite possibly the most intolerant religion in the world, do muslims attempt to integrate with the wider community no I don't believe they do. Lets not forget for example that many prominent 'British' muslim leaders openly condone stoning as a punishment and have declared that it is their aim to make Britain an Islamic state, in fact all Muslims are duty bound by the Qur'an to do this. An Islamic state is bound to distinguish (i.e.discriminate) between Muslims and non-Muslims. Given these factors is it any wonder that the result of having a hugely increasing Muslim population is breeding mistrust and in many cases contempt within the dwindling native population.</p> <p>There is however a huge sense of apathy in the UK, we all moan about the situation we find ourselves in yet seem reluctant to do anything about it and as we forge headlong into becoming an Islamic state despite a barrage of stark warnings in the press and also (but less obviously) in official government figures we still do not act. I think not. Perhaps our many Muslims would like to see "mutaween" - religious police to you and me on the streets instead of, or as well as our great British bobbies. I'm sure the loony liberals would love it too adding to our great sense of multicultural Britain. </p> <p>In truth the reality is quite different, back in 2002 Saudi religious police stopped schoolgirls from leaving a blazing building because they were not wearing correct Islamic dress the 15 girls died in the fire - an isolated incident? no, beatings (often to death) are commonly doled out by the religious police for any breaches of Islamic law however slight. </p> <p>This is the whole problem with Islam, it is the bona fide Jekyll and Hyde of religion, on one hand preaching peace and tolerance and on the other encouraging young men to blow themselves to smithereens for the cause in return for a room full of virgins upon their arrival in 'paradise' </p> <p>Islam is an all encompassing darkness creeping slowly across Britain, do we want an Islamic state? I know where my money is.</p> <p>The usual mis-quotes, Brit bashing and rubbishing of anyone standing up for the rights of Britons has commenced with Nick Griffin shouldering the blame for the government's introduction of incitement to religious hatred laws;</p> <p><em>An undercover investigation by the BBC recorded him referring to Islam as a "wicked vicious faith" founded by "cranky extremists". The new costumes include a woman PCSO, named Sunita, and a male and female PC. </p> <p>This is absolute moronic nonsense, we cannot continue to pander to every whim, gripe complaint and imagined hurt feelings of anyone who deems themselves to be a minority. The patch discolours when wind is passed changing from green through to red, depending on how much gas is passed over the week, the patch is then returned to the department of internal affairs who scan the patch and issue an invoice according to the amount of gas passed. The average male is expected to be £70 worse off over the year with the average female coming in at around £55 Anyone not returning their patch will be automatically fined £100</p> <p>Ridiculous? of course it is and yes I made it all up, but then the thought of a 'pay as you throw' bin tax would have been dismissed as ridiculous just a few years ago.</p> <p>The 'pay as you throw' tax will cost the average family between £35 and £100 per year so in theory should make your council tax cheaper, but no it will apparently cost a fortune to implement and administer meaning... you guessed it - higher council taxes too! Why? two reasons firstly, the EU will fine us huge amounts of money if we do not meet their stringent targets on recycling. We cannot do this because the system that we have in place cannot cope with the strain imposed on it by the hundreds of thousands of migrants which according to local councils do not officially exist. It is fortunately not something however that happens regularly in this country - yet. </p> <p>Unfortunately this type of behaviour is a by-product of the culture of those who choose to come here and settle. As our own culture, tradition and religion are slowly whittled away that of others is bought in to replace it, at the same time our right to free speech is being diluted so that we may not criticise these other religions, races and cultures without the risk of arrest.</p> <p>The future of British politics at present? No it's not the constant threat of terrorist bombs, mad mullahs preaching hate against the west whilst claiming thousands of pounds in benefits, or the fact that the Muslim community deny thare is a problem - it's the government, the same government that many Muslims believe perpetrated the 7/7 bombings in London themselves.</p> <p>Dr Bari believes that there is no such thing as Islamic terrorism.<br> "Terrorists are terrorists, they may use religion but we shouldn't say Muslim terrorists, it stigmatises the whole community" </p> <p>Let's not forget these are not simply terrorists who happen to be Muslim, they are terrorists who use terror to further the cause of Islam - therefore they <strong>are</strong> Islamic Terrorists.</p> <p>In Dr Bari's view, suicide bombers are victims as well as aggressors, claiming them to be vulnerable young men who "don't get enough care and love" - Not brainwashed Islamic warriors searching for paradise then?</p> <p>Asked is stoning ever justified? Foreign inmates now make up 1 in 7 of the prison population in the UK costing the taxpayer £400 million a year. </p> <p>As well as the financial implications we are faced with criminals receiving shorter sentences or even avoiding a custodial sentence altogether due to our already overcrowded prisons. Over the past five years the number of British inmates has risen by 10% with an 80% rise in foreign inmates.</p> <p>This along with our public services who simply cannot cope with the influx is the legacy of our 'open doors' policy to immigration. A DWP spokesman quoted "the number of people on benefits continues to fall as they take opportunity of the 660,000 job vacancies available in the economy today" or is it more likely that the figures are being shuffled and the goalposts constantly moved with people claiming unemployment benefit being moved onto income support, incapacity benefit and other schemes to keep the unemployment figures down.</p> <p>We are told that we are short of skilled tradesmen yet we no longer teach woodwork or metalwork in school is it any wonder why we are suffering in the long term, let's use our common sense and go back to basics in our schools, if we do not address the problem now we face an even bigger problem in the future, we cannot possibly import labour indefinitely. Lets get the unemployed into training and back into work.</p> <p>The import of skilled labour from abroad also impacts on training and education opportunities available to British born people, a good example being my wife. I earn a good income with my wife working part time and bringing up our two children, my wife wants desperately to get back into full time education and pursue a career, for her to do so would put an unbearable strain on the household. Due to my income no state funding is available, child care costs are horrendous, then of course the course fees themselves to pay. He was right. It has changed dramatically."</p> <p>He also wrote: "They have more or less given up complaining about the way we roll out the red carpet for foreigners while leaving the locals to fend for themselves."</p> <p>Isn't this what we are all thinking? Dr Watson believes rightly or wrongly that Africans are genetically less intelligent than Whites, this apparently is 'beyond the point of acceptable debate' Acceptable to whom exactly? are we at the point where we can no longer debate or discuss anything that may offend someone somewhere. </p> <p>Perhaps instead of discussing anything to do with race or religion we should censor free speech so that in public or print only praise can be given to any minority group that may be offended by purportedly 'racist' comments, if for example the Muslim community are to have their way which given time they surely will, our rights to free speech regarding Islam will undoubtedly be curtailed, under sharia law for example, which is gaining an increasing foothold in parts of Britain as an alternative to English criminal law, criticising Islam is punishable by death as is adultery with the unfortunate woman being stoned to death.</p> <p>This government is always over-receptive to calls from ethnic and religious minorities to take their customs, traditions and sensitivities into account over a range of activities, often to the detriment of our own, a recent example being a report by the Institute for Public Policy Research, a labour 'think tank' which has called for Christmas to be 'downgraded' in a bid to improve race relations. the report goes on to say "Even-handedness dictates that we provide public recognition to minority cultures and traditions" the report also calls for action to "ensure access" for ethnic minorities to the "largely white" countryside, quite how you would go about ensuring this access or why it is needed is quite frankly beyond me.</p> <p>In an attempt to placate these minorities, and deflect accusations of racism or religious discrimination, the government agrees to demands which it should be robustly resisting. </p> <p>My point simply is this - once we take away the right of free speech, the right to criticise other people, cultures and religions, once we start to 'downgrade' our own culture, religion and values in favour of those of minority groups we are walking a very dangerous path indeed.</p> <p> <small> <a href="http://mikeclarke.blog.co.uk/2007/11/03/introduction~3240640/#comments">Comments</a> </small> </p>
